    Sanity prevails: IE8 will default to standard-compliant mode

    This is great news for web developers. Anyone who has done any sort of web development knows that IE’s standards compliance has traditionally been anything but, and that it’s been a royal pain in the ass to get your CSS to render consistently cross-platform.

    Good on ya, Microsoft.
